This re-release, which was first introduced to the tennis market in 1987, takes the iconic design and adds contemporary materials to create a far more comfortable and useful shoe. While the undercarriage is delightfully cushy thanks to the Ortholite sockliner and R-DST+ midsole, the top has full grain leather for a smooth and supple feel. Perforations in the leather top aid in airflow, and Wilson maintains the traditional toe-box form for contoured comfort. Maximum traction and abrasion resistance are provided by the high-density Duralast rubber composition on a range of courts.
